It's been a while since we've updated the blog, it's hard to find time to with Ryan asking for constant attention. It never ceases to amaze me how babies develop new skills. One day Ryan is like a turtle stuck on it's back and the next day he learns to turn over. How do they figure out what to do? Or that one day they can? I just can't figure it out.
I understand now when parents say that it's good and bad when babies learn new skills. On one hand it's fun to watch Ryan grab for toys and play with them, but on the other hand he grabs at EVERYTHING. He's currently learning to sit up, not very straight but not sliding over. Ryan's also learned to scream. Now that's all he ever does - he screams when he's happy AND when he's mad.
Ryan loves being the center of attention. In Relief Society he thinks that whenever someone speaks, they're speaking to him, and so answers. He's also quite a lady's man! The Young Women adore him.
Sherman's really enjoy his new job and therefore is working really hard. As a reward and incentive to continue to do so, for his 26th birthday we got him a PS2. He was ecstatic! Now when he's had a tough day, he comes home and works out a little daily stress on Grand Theft Auto.
