Epiphany

I was looking at our blog when i had an epiphany. I'm not really ranting! So I decided that I should start. Therefore my first topic is the "Black Bear" Why would they name a specie of bear "black bear" if they're not all black. Apparently they can be brownish red, cinnamon colored, etc. It seems that a lot of things are mis-labeled.

This was Ryan's first Hallowe'en, and seeing that he is still to young to walk, we decided to join the Changs and go Trick or Treating at the Medical College. We saw some pretty amazing and unique costumes and surprisingly Ryan wasn't scared at all. Next year we'll definately have to be more creative and Sherman and I will also dress up. It turned out that both Ryan and Daniel were lions and Ethan was a Native American Indian. Ryan and Daniel actually grabbed their own candies. Hallowe'en is even more fun when you have a kid.

Ryan had a great time visitning family in Kentucky. He loved all the extra attention he received. He liked it so much that he barely took naps! Ofcourse it took him 2 days to recover from the vacation afterwards. It was also Ryan's first road trip and seeing that he doesn't like to spend too much time in the car, we decided to drive at night. It took Sherman and I a while to recover too! Ryan just loves to play in his activity center and jumperoo. He'll sit in them and talk while he plays. I love it too 'cause it gives mommy time to get chores done . . . but I can't go too far because Ryan likes mommy close by
